Worked with Toronto Creative Agency Somewherelse on revamping their website to help strengthen their digital presence and create an experience that was inline with their current services and offerings.
- Developed from scratch a headless CMS site with content from Wordpress, and front end with Gatsby/React.
- The goal was to not only build a beautiful, exciting website for the agency, but to also make sure that the codebase was easy for any developer to pick up and work with.
- Collaborated with the designer to provide input on limitations and design alternatives.
Worked with BC-based cannabis company Pure Sunfarms to create a Product Test page (COA) where customers can get scientific data on their strain, straight from the production plant.
- Utilized PHP, Wordpress amd Javascript to make an API call from the lot number and render the appropriate product with facts on the strain, and then providing a link to a more detailed pdf.
- Since the site was already built by a previous developer, my biggest challenge was figuring out the inner workings and get the app running locally with minimal help
- Worked cross-functionally with an intermediate consultant firm, and members of the PSF team to ensure data flow and user experience.
Worked with a small, Toronto-based Design + Build firm to create their first online presence.
- The goal was to create a beautiful site that represented their design vision, but to also make the content management as easy as possible for their team, which didn't have a lot of time or experience in conent management.
- Using ACF Custom Fields plugin on Wordpress, I stripped away the default Blocks editor and made it as simple as possible to upload content.
